Lately, I’ve been trying to take better care of my health, and I’ve been hearing a lot about how there are certain Minerals Your Body Needs, and your body needs them for healthy energy, hydration, and overall wellness.
The problem is, most of us don’t get enough minerals from our food because the soil isn’t as rich in nutrients as it used to be, that is a fact. So how on earth can you get all the healthy minerals your body needs? Well, you can take mineral supplements for starters.
I received 3 wonderful mineral supplements from Trace. Trace is a supplement and wellness brand and is America’s #1 selling trace mineral, liquid magnesium, and performance nutrition brand. I was so so excited to try them out. It really is so hard to get all the right minerals for your body!

These Are Minerals Your Body Needs
I reviewed 3 products from Trace. Here’s what I thought of them!
ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops
The first product I tried was ConcenTrace, which is a liquid trace mineral supplement harvested from the waters of the Great Salt Lake in Utah.
It contains a full spectrum of naturally occurring ionic trace minerals, and contains the most powerful, all-natural, pH-balancing trace minerals in the world.
I won’t lie—the taste is a tad strong. It’s salty and has a mineral-like flavor, so I wouldn’t recommend drinking it straight. But, when I mixed it with juice, tea, coffee, or a smoothie, it was totally fine!
After using it for a couple of weeks, I noticed I felt more hydrated and didn’t crash in the afternoons like I usually do. My muscles also felt less sore after workouts, which was a very nice bonus!
What It Does:
- Supports healthy bones, joints, and teeth, promotes efficient hydration and restores electrolytes
- Supports energy and muscles, offers metabolic and mood support
If you’re someone who feels tired a lot or just wants to make sure you’re getting the minerals your body needs, this is a simple way to do it. Just be sure to mix it with something to make it easier to drink!
Suggested Use:
Week 1: 10 drops a day
Week 2: 20 drops a day
Week 3: 30 drops a day
Week 4: Up to 40 drops a day
Mix the drops into your beverage of choice at mealtimes. If it’s your first time taking ConcenTrace(R), follow the daily usage instructions above. DO NOT REFRIGERATE.
**Note: Add an additional 5 drops daily, as tolerated, until you reach a max of 40 drops (0.5 tsp.). A high intake of magnesium may cause a laxative effect. If this occurs, simply reduce the serving size.

Trace Shilajit Resin
Before trying Trace Shilajit Resin, I had no idea what shilajit was. By researching a bit more, I found out that it is a mineral-rich resin found on (or oozing from) rocks in the Himalayan mountains and has been formed for centuries by the gradual decomposition of certain plants by the action of microorganisms! Fascinating, right?!
It contains 75% naturally occurring fulvic acid, humic acid, and a full spectrum of ionic trace minerals from ConcenTrace. It’s packed with minerals and has been used in traditional medicine for centuries to help with brain health, energy, and the immune system.
The texture is kind of weird—think of a thick syrup (very thick!), almost like molasses. I mixed a tiny bit into warm water, or sometimes tea (which was my favorite way to take this), and it dissolved pretty well.
What It Does:
- Promotes brain health; Supports body-mineral balance
- Promotes healthy immune function; supports energy and overall wellness
Suggested Use:
Take a pea sized quantity (500 mg) daily with the provided spoon. Mix with lukewarm water, tea, or milk. It can be taken twice a day.
The taste is earthy and a little bitter, but not terrible and mixed in a hot cup of tea with a bit of sweetner, it wasn’t noticeable.
What I liked most about this product was how it helped me focus. Normally, I get that sluggish, foggy feeling in the afternoon, but on the days I took this in the morning, I felt more alert.
It wasn’t like a sudden jolt of energy like caffeine gives you—it was more of a steady, clear-headed feeling throughout the day.
So, if you’re someone who has trouble concentrating or feels mentally tired a lot, this might be worth trying!

Trace ZeroLyte
I drink a lot of water, but sometimes I still feel really dehydrated, especially after working out or just running around all day long.
That’s why I really wanted to try ZeroLyte! This is an electrolyte supplement that helps replenish minerals like sodium, potassium, and magnesium. It is supposed to keep your body hydrated and full of healthy energy.
ZeroLyte supports proper nerve and muscle function and is full of high-quality ingredients, like ancient sea salt, coconut water, potassium, magnesium, and a full spectrum of ionic trace minerals, which sounded pretty good to me!
I mixed it with water before my workouts or once or twice throughout my day, and I noticed I didn’t feel as drained afterward my hard workouts or after a really busy day!
My muscles weren’t as sore after my workouts either, and I didn’t feel as thirsty throughout the my workouts or throughout my day. However, I still drank what I normally drink throughout the day (hey, it’s a good habit to have)!
What It Does:
- Supports effective hydration; Promotes body fluid regulation
- Helps with proper nerve and muscle function; Replenishes electrolytes lost through exercise and daily activities
The taste was a salty but way better than those sugary sports drinks that are no good for you or your body! Even though it was salty tasting, the flavors I had were so delish!
My daughter said the flavor reminded her of Jolly Ranchers, a salty Jolly Rancher! Ha! I have to agree with her. ZeroLyte Salty Watermelon was our favorite flavor!
Even if you don’t work out, and are just a busy person, this could be so helpful for you, especially if you sweat a lot, live in a hot area, or just want to stay hydrated.
It’s an easy way to give your body what it needs without all the artificial junk in other store bought drinks.

Interesting Stats
92% of Americans are suffering from mineral or vitamin deficiency.
50% of Americans are magnesium deficient.
9/10 of Americans are potassium deficient.
7/10 of Americans are calcium deficient.
After testing these three products, I can say they all have their benefits. The ConcenTrace mineral drops helped with hydration and energy, the Shilajit Resin helped me focus better, and the ZeroLyte kept me feeling hydrated and refreshed after workouts and really busy days.
If you’re looking for easy ways to boost your health naturally, these are great options. The tastes take some getting used to, but once you find a way to mix them into your routine, they’re worth it!
