My 4-year-old has been so interested in reading lately. He loves it when I read him storybooks and when I ask him to pronounce a word, he feels so big! I knew he was ready to start learning to read.
March was National Reading Month, but learning to read or reading every day, doesn’t have to stop once March is over. It can go on all year long! We love reading at this house and now it just got better for my littlest one because he received a special package in the mail the other day!

Learn How To Read With LeapFrog LeapStart Interactive Learning System
My 4-year-old received the LeapFrog LeapStart Interactive Learning System. It is pretty easy to set up. It does require 2 AA batteries, though, so make sure you have those on hand if you purchase this.
Then you plug the cord it comes with into the learning system and your computer and set up everything (and download what you want). Then you are ready to learn!
I sat down with my youngest and we had a lot of fun playing around with the LeapFrog LeapStart Interactive Learning System. I got him the Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten one but there is also one for Kindergarten & 1st Grade.
LeapFrog®, the leader in innovative learning toys has been teaching children to read for over 20 years with their award-winning LeapStart interactive learning system!
This innovative learning system features two platforms, one for Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten and one for Kindergarten & 1st Grade, and works with a library of 16 different activity books (each sold separately), making it the perfect tool for any child learning how to read!
I loved the portable, kid-tough case that this is all housed in. I also like how comfy and easy to grab the stylus is for my little boy’s tiny hands.
The downloadable Parent Guide that helps the development of kids ages 2-7 with tips, tricks, and activities that parents can do with their kids is extremely helpful. Plus, each system comes with a sampler book!
My little guy is so entertained when he sits down to use his LeapStart Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten system. It is jam-packed with school and life skills for him to learn from.
The LeapStart activity books are designed to help build skills and challenges your child. From ABCs, numbers, and shapes to colors, reading, writing, social skills, and MUCH more! Both LeapStart platforms work with all four levels of activity books for a complete, interchangeable library.
