When your body aches, it can be easy to avoid exercise. You might not want to hit the gym or go out for a long run if you are hurting before you even get started. But, exercising can strengthen your muscles and stretch out limbs and joints.

Baths are a great way to soak your muscles and stiff joints. Warm water can reduce aches and ease tension, and soaking in water can give you weightlessness, almost like taking a break from your body for a little while. Other heat therapy can help too. Apply a hot water bottle or heat pack to a sore or achy area for some gentle relief.

Acupuncture, meditation, and herbal remedies can all help ease aches and pains and reduce swelling. Really good list! I have to agree winter aches are a real pain. Tub is a no for me but I do have a shower chair and unlimited hot water. And that help me. But also rice bags are a big thing in my life. I can microwave one and apply it to a pain area and it stays warms for hours.
