CONTEST OVER! CONGRATS TO
Amber Faith [Pilcher] #560!!

I am always trying to find ways to give my kids more veggies in their day. It can be super hard though, and sometimes takes being extremely creative on my part.

I have done the celery with peanut butter and raisens (you know, the ants on the log thing..), I have also tried using cookie cutters on their fruits, doing star shaped kiwis or heart shaped apple cut outs, but it does not always work!

How would it be to not have to “hide” veggies in meals or make them super cute in order for your child to want to eat it? That is where Crock Country comes in! Inspired by the scenes dipicted from the Country Crock tubs, comes Crock Country
To help bring Crock Country into our home, I was sent a cute veggie kit! The kit included fun things to help get my kids on the road to eating more veggies.
We went to Safeway and used our gift card that we received, to purchase some great veggies. I let the kids hand pick which 2 veggies they most wanted as well as one veggie each, that they have never tried. We ended up with a fun assortment of bright colors and tasty veggies!

Me and my kids then made a really yummy meal with the veggies we bought. It was not all veggies, but it was a meat dish with veggies and it was very good. It is called Vegetable and Chicken Stir Fry and there were no leftovers!! Recipe for that, coming later this week
You can visit Crock Country and check out their awesome recipes to help incorporate veggies and fruits into your child or family’s meals.
How do you get creative, when it comes to adding veggies into your child’s meals?
