Connecting children with nature is very important. Especially nowadays with so many video games and computers (ya, I know, I am one to talk :)). But still, it is very important to me as a mommy to get my kids outside!
One fun way to do that was with the Nature Bag! It is 20 fun activities in one bag for your kids! They can explore outside and have so much fun doing it! It is a little (organic) nature activity bag for your kids (and YOU!)

Naturebag’s activity booklet will guide you through hands-on educational activities for children between 3 and 12. Everything you need to do the activities is right there in the
bag:
1 rubber wood magnifier
1 box of soy based crayons
hemp twine
8 color cards
2 leaf viewers
1 recycled notepad
1 recycled jeans pencil
1 organic cotton blindfold
1 activity booklet
My son literally had so much fun with this kit. He loved the magnifying glass and staring at bugs and dead bees to SPIDERS (Mom did NOT like that part) and worms (earth worms that is lol..) So much fun!
Who would have thought? I really like how everything is this bag is earth friendly and natural. My son also loved the notepad and pencil.
He used this to “jot” down his thoughts on different things he was viewing in his magnifying glass. It was so funny, he felt so important with that notebook in his little hands, so cute.

About Nature Bag (taken off their site):
Naturebag was created by Sylvie de Sousa and Katharine Byers, two Vancouver mums with one vision – to help children and their families reconnect with nature.
“With 10 years of elementary teaching experience, a Masters in Environmental Education, an International Business degree and four young children between us, we recognised the need for an accessible tool to engage children with nature.
So what better than a child sized, organic cotton shoulder bag (with adjustable strap for Mum and Dad!) full of hands-on, curiosity led games and activities.
It was also important to us to consider our environmental impact when creating naturebag, so we chose to use recycled and organic materials in its creation.”
Please support this wonderful cause by buying The Naturebag !It retails for $39.95, and has everything you need in it to make a fun, interesting and learning day for your child. Me and my son had a really nice time together outside.
