Spokane Washington is a beautiful place to visit. We used to live in Washington and would visit Spokane quite often. If you like urban living and still like to visit nature, then Spokane is the city you want to check out. There are lots of fun places to visit in Spokane Washington!
Spokane has so many fun parks, lots of lakes (there are 76 lakes around Spokane), educational museums, lots of great music, and yummy food! It is a very fun place to visit.

There are a lot of fun things to do and see in Spokane. If you enjoy the great outdoors, there is something for you. Spokane is only 25 miles from the Idaho border and has a lot to offer. From hikes to visiting local museums, there is much to see and do.

*Riverfront Park: This park is 100 acres and is breathtakingly beautiful. They have an IMAX Theater, so you can watch a new movie with your friends and family if it is too rainy out!
The Spokane Falls is gorgeous to visit and take pictures of. But, if you want a better view of the falls, I recommend going on the Numerica Skyride!
This will give you a birds-eye view of the falls and other places! It is a 15-minute ride in an enclosed cabin. Each cabin can hold up to 6 passengers.
*Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture: This is known as the MAC to all the locals and is the largest cultural institution of its kind in the Inland NW. It features 5 underground galleries and rotating exhibits that are amazing!
This museum focuses on regional history, visual arts, and American Indian Culture. This is definitely a museum you would want to check out if you visit Spokane!
*Manito Park: This is one of Spokane’s primary showplaces. It has 5 major garden areas and is nationally recognized for its diverse horticultural displays.
It has 78 acres of native and cultivated landscape and 20 acres of world-class botanical gardens. It is so beautiful! There are also playgrounds for your kids to get their wiggles out!
*Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox: This theater is owned and operated by the Spokane Symphony and serves as the Symphony’s permanent home and as a venue for all of the performing arts. For more information about the Spokane Symphony Orchestra, please visit their website.
*Centennial Trail: The Centennial Trail is the center point for fun and recreation in Spokane. It is a paved trail that is 37 miles long. You can run, jog, walk, ride your bike, roller skate, or dance down this paved trail! This is a great way to get fresh air and get outdoors with your family.
There is so much more to do in Spokane Washington, I just wanted to share with you my favorite spots to visit because we loved them so much. I miss living in Washington, but I do not miss the rain!
If you are thinking of planning a fun road trip in your spacious and comfortable vehicle, and are close to Spokane Washington, I would definitely visit the city of Spokane.
It is a great place to unwind, learn a thing or two about regional history, visual arts, and American Indian Culture, and just have some much-needed fun!
