Love love love Christmas books! And The Kings Christmas List is a new favorite in our home. The illustrations are adorable, colorful and fun to look at. The story is sweet, enduring and engaging. I always try to stay away from books for kids that have too long of a story, as my kids tend to get antsy halfway through those. But, this book has a great storyline, and my kids were interested in it. So, even though it was a bit long (for them), it was perfect!

This book teaches children the true meaning of Christmas. Children will learn that the greatest gift of all is the gift of giving. This is a precious story of a little cute girl named Emma. She has been invited to the Kings Birthday party! Dressed in her very best, Emma brings her little dog, Shu-Shu and her treasured stuffed toy Cherry-Bear along for the journey to the King’s Palace. But, along the way Emma learns great lessons about giving to those less fortunate and enters the King’s presence weary, rumpled, cold and empty-handed. What will the King think?! Emma frets, but after meeting the King, discovers she gave the King exactly what he wanted. Totally cute story!!
This book also encourages families to go online and easily give your own birthday gifts to the King, through notable charities like BloodWater Mission and Compassion International. Disney Tangled, Rapunzel’s Dream, available is a storybook that includes a musical hairbrush that your child can use just as Rapunzel would in the actual movie. One wave brings this magical brush to life as it “sings” a lovely melody while combing magically through your child’s hair. My daughter LOVES this hair brush!! Everytime she brushes her hair, the hair brush plays a beautiful song!!
Disney Tangled, Rapunzel’s Magical Hair, is a great new storybook that features a removable light-up hair clip. Throughout the book children are encouraged to use this clip as Rapunzel would in certain scenes taken straight from the movie. This is super fun! It is a little clip with a long lock of blond hair. Your daughter can clip it right into her own hair and the clip lights up and flickers. My daughter loved wearing this to bed, of course I took it out when she fell asleep. The only thing is is that the battery in this clip did not last that long 
So it does not light up anymore!
Disney Tangled, Rapunzel’s Adventures, is a storybook with a portable music player containing I See the Light, a song from the movie, as well as 19 additional tunes inspired by the film. This player can be used page-by-page along with the storybook or as a stand alone toy bringing to your child musical tunes for hours of play.
Disney Pixar Toy Story 3 Record-A-Book, is also available along with Disney Princess Dreams Record-a-Book. These new record-a-books are a great way for friends and family to be involved with a child’s fun and learning. Our Thoughts?
We received the Baby Einstein World of Colors Discovery Kit. It is a level 3 Expressions. Me and my daughter had a blast using this discovery kit. Listening to the music, watching the educational DVD and browsing the book, I could tell my daughter was really into it. Asking questions as we went along and paying attention for longer then she ever has! This is really a great product and I plan on buying more kits in the near future.
Some Questions and Answers from the Round Table that I participated In:
Q – I know that all children develop at different paces but what age do you think the Stage 3 discovery kits are appropriate for?
A – Dr. Karen Hill-Scott: We believe each level is really okay to watch for all infants. However, for Level 3, if your baby is walking and trying to talk, their interests are really matched by Level 3 which is about expressing themselves through making colors (painting) and moving and listening to poetry and rhymes
Q – How would you suggest incorporating the images of the paintings from the World of Colors book into playtime with your child?
A – Dr. Karen Hill-Scott: Painting is so much about colors, and in the real world, there are endless opportunities to point out colors to your baby – at the park, in the grocery story or even the clothes in your own closet.

This dvd is very cute and girly. It is magical and my kids (daughter especially, son not so much) enjoyed this movie with me. I loved how it was narrated while the ballerinas danced around, just beautiful! It is great that the narrators also show the words on the screen as they pronounce them, so that school aged kids (even me!) can learn how they are spelled and sound them out at the same time. They also teach certain ballerina dance steps, so that you can learn them with the ballerinas! Too fun! They also have some great bonus features that include holiday crafts and some great dance moves!
My daughter still dances around our house on her tip toes, she is actually pretty good at it! That is one of the reasons why I was interested in reviewing this DVD, because she has walked on her toes and it amazes us! She has strong little piggies! This movie is 60 minutes long and is from NCirle Entertainment.
All in all this was a pleasant, fun and educating dvd!

Next, I got to record a message to explain to everyone calling in, what this was for and what they needed to do. Then, I received a phone number and code that everyone who calls in to leave a message, can use. They record their messages and then I am sent an email when they recorded their messages. When everyone that I emailed has called in and recorded a message, I then can go through and listen to the messages and put them in order, delete or keep them! After that is done, I order it and it is sent to me! So simple to do, the only hard part was getting EVERY ONE to do their part and call in and record a message! I had to email my family several times and threaten them at one point, LOL! But, everyone did it and now it is complete!
My parents will receive this on their Anniversary which is on December 27th. I will let you know their reactions, when I give it to them. I did, however, get to take a peek at it, and it is absolutely beautiful! Talk about a neat idea for a gift for that special someone or grandparents that don’t get to see your kids very often!

Love Hasbro toys, games and just all of it! Hasbro has been around forever and I remember getting Hasbro toys as a child, so I am excited that my kids play with Hasbro toys too! Now with the holiday season in full swing, Hasbro has great active games that can be played outside or in front of the family fireplace during cool nights!
Games I would like to suggest to you!!
Cuponk was named to the Toys R Us “Hot Holiday Toy List” and the Kmart “Fab 15.” Not a bad way to start the holiday season! Cuponk challenges players to come up with custom trick shots to show their skills and land the ball in the Cuponk cup. I gave this game to my nephews as it was more their age (for ages 9+). They LOVED playing this game with eachother and their friends. Requires 3 AAA batteries (not included). For 1 or more player(s).
The giggles are uncontrollable when the Hasbro Girl Talk Games are out. These games are perfect for fun slumber parties and to keep those “lol moments” alive during the holiday season. Scotch Adhesive Dot Roller for all the crafty people out there! Even if you are not crafty, this is pretty neat. You can use it safely on all surfaces, for pictures and more! Me, I did not really like it only because I could not find the right way to get a hold of it, where I could use it properly. It irritated me some. But, that was just my experience with it. Yours could be different!
