I was contacted recently, and had the opportunity to review some great products from “honestech”. I received the VHS to DVD 4.0 Deluxe (basically lets you convert your VHS movies to DVD, Blu-Ray Disc and Cd’s) and I received the Fotobox easy to use slideshow creator.

This device, easily allows for you to convert your videos to DVD, CD and Blu-Ray Disc’s. It offers step by step tutorials and video transfer with one easy click. You can convert cassette tapes and LP records to WMA files and audio CDs. Basically, if you have a VHS movie/video and want to burn it onto one of the above, this allows you to do that, with EASE! Simple to use! System requirements.

Now, with that said and explained, on with my review!

These came very fast! I was so happy with that! I let my husband play around with these, because he loves doing things with computers and figuring things out. But, there was really not a lot of figuring to do! With the Fotobox there is absolutely no software installation, you just plug in and can start creating your slideshow! It is so neat and fun to do! It has a portable USB device for multimedia slideshow creations, super cool!

I have not had a whole lot of time to do what I want to do with these just yet, so I have no finished products to share… yet! But, I am putting together a really neat slideshow that I will be posting probably after the new year, and it will be so neat thanks to the Fotobox Deluxe that was sent to me! Also, our wedding video is on a VHS tape, so that is going to be my next project using the VHS to DVD product I received.

 

My take on these? Wow! They are so neat and I just want to have a whole day to myself to play around with them! The slideshow is has so many options on how to create it your way! Like, various themed templates or background music and tons more! I definitely recommend these two products and just can’t wait to play around more with them!
