5 Life Tips for Busy Parents
Shop Online.
We all know this is one of the greatest things to come from the internet. Being able to order pretty much anything online and have it delivered can be a lifesaver.
Not having to navigate the grocery store with kids in tow can be a huge weight off your mind. So put your feet up and do the shopping from your sofa or kitchen table when the kids are in bed for a stress-free shopping experience.
So take the stress out of shopping by doing what you can online and have it delivered to you when it’s convenient.
Online Doctor.
If you don’t have time to visit your doctor in person, then why not look at getting an online consultation. An online doctor service can help you get back on the right track and keep on top of your health even when you are too busy to visit the surgery.
You can’t afford to neglect your health when raising a family, so this is the perfect way to make sure you are still taking care of yourself even when you are short on time or unable to make the trip.
The same with your kids too, if they are too poor to be moved then this could help you get the medical advice you need without having to disrupt them and leave home.
Organize Everything
Take some time to set up a schedule for your family and stick to it. Use a planner app on your phone and coordinate it with other family members.
This way you can all be on the same page which is perfect for older kids. Family wall planners are perfect for adding in activities and appointments for different family members. This way you will know exactly who has something planned and where so you can plan ahead.
This is perfect for school trips, theme days, activities, out-of-school clubs and so much more. It takes the stress out of remembering everything and you know exactly what you have coming up for everyone. You could even add a few planner stickers to make the planner more visual and fun!
Be Prepared
By this I mean get everything ready for the next day before you go to bed. This will help if you are running late and reduces the stress of the kid’s not being able to find something. If you have storage units, then give each family member space on the unit and have clothes and shoes, etc ready before you go to bed. This is one less time-consuming task for busy mornings.
Keep spare items in the car, eg water bottles, underwear, wipes, snacks, etc. Anything you know you or your family will need or are likely to forget.
Meal Planning.
This is a lifesaver when you literally have no inspiration for mealtimes. If you can, invest in a slow cooker. This means you can prepare your evening meal in the morning and then all you have to do is dish it up when you come home.
The beauty of meal-planning is that not only can you involve the family but when you do your shopping, online as we mentioned above, is that when you do your shop you know exactly what you need to buy. Not only can it help you to save money but you can prep anything you need too early on in the day so all you need to do is cook when it comes to dinner time!
Buy a meal planner to keep up in your kitchen, put the information into an app, whatever works for you so you can keep on top of your shopping, and also eliminate all the hassle from deciding on the spot what to make for dinner that evening!
