Maui Costume
You need a Cricut machine to make this costume, but it is so so cute! The DIY Maui Costume is so dang cute!
Mummy
A DIY mummy costume is always a classic monster look and a great costume idea. To get a more realistic look, you can soak an old white sheet in a tub or sink with tea bags.
The tea coloring will give the sheet an aged looked. Rip the sheet into strips (scissors will look too clean, rips give the zombie look better).
First, wear white to prevent color bleed-through and then wind the strips around your body tying each end to each other to hold the costume together.
Hot Air Balloon
Be a hot air balloon! I love this idea and it goes so well with fall! Made with a cardboard box and some other things laying around your home and you have yourself a unique, yet super cool costume! Love this idea! So fun!
HULK
You can find green body paint at just about any store for relatively cheap during the Halloween shopping season. Buy some of this green skin paint and find your oldest flannel shirt (or hit up a thrift shop for one). With the green paint cover your face, neck, arms, and chest. Next, rip up your flannel shirt and put it on over the paint.
Clouds and Rain
I love this idea and it goes so well with fall! The Balloon Thunderstorm Cloud Costume is so cute! Just find a grey shirt and matching leggings or sweats and then paint blue raindrops all over the outfit.
Doll In A Box
Now, this is super cute!! The doll in a box costume is definitely a unique idea that is for sure!
Static Cling
Static cling is one of the costumes that are weird and funny and I just love it. Yes, with just a few simple steps you can become static cling!
Using safety pins, attach random socks to your outfit. There are SO many awesome DIY Costume Ideas to choose from! I am loving these so far, aren’t you???
DIY Gnome Halloween Costume
These DIY Gnome Halloween Costumes are great for adults or kids. And, the best part? This blogger spent under $15 to make both! Find out how she made these adorable gnome Halloween costumes, by clicking the link above!
Life Brings You Lemons
Take a white or yellow tee shirt and use a sharpie to write the word LIFE on it (or you can buy it on Amazon.com!). Carry along a basket full of lemons and now you have a Life Brings You Lemons costume. Unique and kind of funny!
The 80s
The 80s is such a classic decade as far as style goes. You can easily create an 80s costume by putting in a sideways ponytail, applying some blue eyeshadow, and throwing on some neon clothes.
Mister Rogers
With the upcoming movie, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, Mister Rogers is being brought back to the scene. Mister Rogers is an easy costume, all you need to do is put on a white button-up shirt and tie and cover it up with a button-up sweater.
Two-faced
This is an easy one but a clever one. Grab some face paint and decorate one side of your face while leaving the other make-up and paint-free, or paint it in a completely different manner.
For an added dramatic effect, consider wearing red lenses on one side of your face to make it look more intense and striking. You are now two-faced. Check out this awesome tutorial for a creative no-sew two-face costume!
Ballerina Jewelry Box Costume
Brilliant, isn’t it? And so fun! This Ballerina Jewelry Box Costume would be perfect for your little ballerina!
Peter Pan Shadow
Are you a fan of Peter Pan? This Peter Pan Shadow Costume will turn heads on Halloween and it can be created in just a few minutes. This is just one of many DIY Costume Ideas!
