Organic Products Help with Sensitive Skin

Please Share!

*This post is brought to you by Ridge Organics. Story is true and my own.

All my kids have such sensitive skin. Makes me so sad when I see their little skin flare up! I have tried many many things on their skin and the only thing, so far that has worked is using organic baby products.

itchy legs

My son had the flair ups when he was younger, but it seems like it has stopped when he turned 6, hopefully that is what will happen for my daughter, though I truly doubt it. She has VERY bad skin on the inside of her elbows, knees, hands and tops of feet. I feel horrible for her!

We have been to countless doctors and one doctor prescribed a very good topical ointment and it seems to make the rashy skin disappear over night. So, that has been extremely helpful for the ‘bad’ days.

But, to ensure her skin stays ‘okay’ I have to use organic skincare or natural products too. I try to use organic/natural products more often and the ointment only when it is really bad. I have tried everything for my little girls skin, including the bleach baths… yep, like I said, I have tried it all..

Now most of these products, I will buy at the store, but usually I have a better selection, when I purchase the organic products online, only because I can see the selection right in front of me, of all of the organic products, and that is so helpful to have it all in one place. I don’t like having to search high and low to find products that I know nothing about. Online, I can find out what they do and what they are used for and I can see reviews of these products. So, I shop for these products online.

Do your children (or you??) have sensitive skin? If you do, what do you use?

Fortunately I don’t have sensitive skin. The sad face on the picture is very funny. ;0D

My girlfriend has sensitive skin and we definitely have had better luck with organic products — no doubt because it is easier to determine what is in it and make sure it doesn’t conflict with allergies she may have.

I prefer organic over most of the things in drugstores. I have sensitive skin and I don’tneed all those chemicals irritating me.

There are so many nasty ingredients in skin products I would much rather have organic natural products for healthier skin..I find shopping online much better also I dont have to wait in line and I find a much better selection and I can do it all in my pj’s 🙂

I try and buy Goats Milk Soap and only use that on my little girls skin. She has never had a reaction to it and it makes her skin soft and smooth. (she is 7) I know she can use it on her face and not worry about harsh chemicals harming her.

We use a lot of organic products and they are all cruelty free, my kids didn’t have very sensitive skin-but they pick! It drives me nuts! I’m glad that using organic products has helped your kids-who knows what chemicals are in many products out there.

My husband tries everything in the house for his cracked, dry hands. He works on cars and they are always chapped and red. They itch him so we have to be careful what we use. He really likes Zim’s crack creme, but I will have to look into more organic options.

We don’t have sensitive skin, but I do try to stay away from products with ingredients I can’t pronounce.

my baby girl is developing early she’s 9 but her face is breaking out, I use Mainely Coles a company in Maine, her organic products is all natural & organic and it’s working to reduce the breakouts. Heidi the owner is a very helpful and awesome person to work with and I love her products.

I have somewhat sensitive skin now that I have gotten older and I see a dermatologist of course for it, the last product I had was organic and didn’t have any chemicals and I loved it.

My kids are fine, but I have sensitive skin. I usually look for things that are fragrance & dye free. That usually does the trick.
