My hair is literally a haystack! It is so dry and brittle, it is a wonder it even grows and is long! I was asked to review some hair conditioner by the name of Retro-Chic Conditioning Potion. And of course, because of how dry my hair is, I said yes. I received the Retro-Chic Conditioning Potion last week and have used it 3 times so far. I really liked that it is a very nice smelling conditioner (that is usually a big thing for me, has to smell really good!). It smelled kind of like fruit loops cereal to me, and that is good! When I squeezed out the conditioner, I noticed it is a “lighter” conditioner, meaning it will not weigh my hair down with too much product. I rubbed my hands together and ran my hands through my thick hair. It immediately absorbed into my hair, like my hair “thirsted” for it! My hair drank it in and I finished shaving my legs, while I left it to sit in my hair. After about 5 minutes, I rinsed it out and towel dried my hair. As I was combing through my hair, I did notice it to be easier to comb through than with other brands of Conditioner I have used in the past. Despite it being a “lighter” conditioner, it really made my hair feel soft and very manageable. After I combed through my hair I added a little more into my hair. ( I always do this with conditioners because it makes the scent of the conditioner stay longer, and I LOVED this ones scent and wanted it to LINGER on my hair! )
After my hair was air-dried, it was so soft and nice feeling! And the smell was wonderful! Not only was my hair softer, but also it was a bit shinier. I did not need to use my usual hair serum shine mist! If you have hair that is not in the best shape (or any kind of hair, really), I highly recommend this Retro-Chic Conditioning Potion! The only thing I would change about this wonderful elixir for my strands, would be the pour spout. I like the squirt lids best, but hey, I can’t complain with results like the ones I am getting! You have got to try it for yourself, to see how it makes YOUR hair feel, smell and react.
