This post is all about Ways To Really Relax In Life! We all feel that we need to take a break now and again but when we think about the fine art of relaxation when it comes down to it we really don’t know how to relax.
So many of us feel that if we have a few minutes of downtime we are onto planning the next thing but when we operate with this sort of mindset we are always on the go which doesn’t do us favors in the long-term.

Find The Space For Yourself
It seems that we don’t necessarily have the opportunity to do the things that we want to do for ourselves. Some people like nothing more than sitting in their back garden and just staring into space. But when we are not able to relax properly we’ve got to find somewhere that can put us into that relaxing frame of mind.
This should be somewhere that is not tainted with modern stresses. So this could be somewhere in your home like your relaxing living room or relaxing bedroom. I tend to love these two places in my home.
But it’s important to get into the habit of finding a space for yourself or creating a space for yourself that you can unwind in and feel comfortable in.
Get Mindful
Mindfulness is all about connecting with how you’re feeling and accepting it. There are so many different ways to do this but if you’re not someone who likes the idea of meditation you can become more mindful with progressive relaxation techniques or something like deep breathing.
In fact, deep breathing is a very good way to connect with yourself and relax your body even if your mind is going at 100 miles an hour.
Take A Nap
We don’t sleep enough and we are now in the middle of a sleep epidemic so if you feel that you need to have a lie-down or take a nap you should! Having a nap is beneficial because it makes you more productive and also allows you to destress.
A little nap can be what the doctor ordered especially if you struggle to sleep during the night or you continue to think all the time when you need to be relaxing! Such nice ways to really relax in life!
Journalling
Writing down your thoughts is a great way to get everything out of your mind. Journalling or a brain dump is a way for you to start putting the thoughts that lay dormant in your head onto paper.
If you’re someone who cannot relax at night or drift off to sleep because there are so many things going around your head write them down. That way they are somewhere else apart from your brain.
Whether we’ve got too many stresses in life or there’s too much going on learning to relax can feel like a considerable challenge.

everyday I get a brain fog around 3pm –I want to nap and there is so much to get finish– I have to do a few stretches to help and believe it or not it makes me breath better more alert more intune with myself and so much more relaxed. Then I can get on to better thanks, and smile again.
