My kids love DVDs, but especially if they are one of their favorite DVDs or shows. We had the opportunity to review two great DVDs, WordWorld Pirate Sheep and Dive Olly Dive! Under Pressure. My kids already love WordWorld, but we have never watched or heard of Dive Olly Dive! So this was new to them.

 

Of course WordWorld is great. I love how everthing in this movie and their shows is made from words. It is a great way for little ones to start making sense of letters and words. This particular DVD is 60 minutes long and features 4 exciting stories:

*Pirate Ship

*Superhero Sheep

*Mail Mix Up (our favorite!)

*Wee Little Whale

Dive Olly Dive! Under Pressure turned out to be a new favorite of my kids. This is a unique series for young children, featuring the adventures of two young research submarines in training. Olly and his best friend, Beth. Each episode is filled to the brim with adventures, problems and dilemas that help preschoolers learn that with a little teamwork anything can be accomplished. It also teaches the importance of keeping our oceans clean! It is 60 minutes long and features 5 exciting stories! This was just released on July 6th of this year!

So, these movies were/are a great hit in our family and I recommend them.
