How To Score Bargain Deals
Coupons, Coupons, Coupons!
It sounds cliche, yes, but coupons are really where the savings are at. Most people associate these with grocery shopping, and there are bargains to be had there, for sure. If extreme couponing isn’t for you, don’t worry, you don’t need to do that to save money.
You can just clip the ones for products you plan to buy and you’ll still see savings. Some stores even double the coupon up to a specific face value on certain days of the week.
Coupons are also available for many popular retail stores such as Walmart, Sephora, Target, etc. A lot of times you can stack these coupons, too. Some are for certain percentages of your total purchase while others are a percentage of a specific category of items.
It’s also a good idea to check with your favorite stores and brands to see if they are offering any special Labor Day deals or coupons.
Cashback Rewards Apps
To save even more money, you can combine coupons with cash-back rewards apps. Some cashback rewards sites I enjoy using are:
*Coupon Follow
*Coupons.com
*RetailMeNot
Rakuten gives you CASH back on all purchases you make at any participating store. There are TONS of stores that participate in this!
I have earned over $500 so far from just shopping online or in-store at my favorite stores. It is THAT easy.
There is absolutely no reason to not use Rakuten unless, of course, you don’t want to earn cash back on all your purchases. It is a no-brainer really.
What Stores Can You Shop And Earn Cash Back With?
Here are only a handful (there are SO many more popular ones!). These are my favorite stores that I shop at all the time, which is why I am mentioning them to you:
*Sephora 2.0% cash back
*Groupon 4.0% cash back
*eBay 1.0% cashback
*Walmart up to 6.0% cashback
*Target 1.0% cashback
*Macy’s 6.0% cashback
*Expedia up to 10.0% cashback
*Nike 8.0% cashback
AND SO MANY MORE!!!
If you haven’t signed up for Rakuten, I highly recommend signing up. It is free to sign up!
It’s important to be diligent, though. Before you go shopping, check the sites. Sometimes, you’ll find hidden gems that aren’t advertised.
Downloading the store’s app onto your phone or signing up for text notifications can also yield hidden finds that aren’t available to the public. I actually do this with all the fast-food joints I visit frequently!
There are SO many hidden freebies and discounts on those apps! Anything that saves you money is a win if you shop at the store enough.

Memberships and Clubs
This is another type of savings you can — and should — be capitalizing on. It mostly involves online stores, but they’re worth it for the savings alone.
For example, some memberships give you points for every purchase. These points lead to savings coupons once you’ve hit a certain milestone.
Others give you a coupon or savings for your birthday or send out email newsletters with special savings for those who sign up for the membership or club. Also, you shouldn’t have to pay for these.
While there are some paid memberships like Sam’s Club or Costco, and those definitely help you save money if you’re buying in bulk, they’re a different type of club. AARP and AAA are other groups worth joining, too, simply for their discounts at local and national establishments.
These can help you save on your next purchase, which is ideal if you’re a fan of the shop and find yourself returning time and again to see what’s new or on sale.
Holiday Shopping: How To Score Bargain Deals!
Let’s face it, When it comes to holiday shopping, you really need to take advantage of the sales. It’s so easy to get ahead of yourself and spend more than you want to, without a plan in place.
The good news is that almost all stores — major retailers and small boutiques alike — advertise well in advance of the holiday. Many use social media campaigns leading up to Black Friday, so you can see the deals ahead of time.
Additionally, you’ll want to hawk the fliers and stalk social media sites. This is also a good time to sign up for email notifications from your favorite stores if you haven’t already.
Once you have the information on all the sales, you can compare prices between locations and score the best deal possible. The sooner you know, the sooner you can take advantage of the savings.
Plus, if you wait too long, you might miss out as popular items tend to sell out quickly. If your child has their heart set on something, don’t waste too much time looking for a better deal or you might miss out altogether.
Christmas isn’t the only time you can find deals, though. There are other holidays such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, and the 4th of July, where there are sales galore.

Like with Christmas, make your list of what you need or want, and compare the deals between shops. Sometimes, it’s just better to hold out than to splurge if it’s more of a want than a need. However, it’s not uncommon for people to also start their yearly holiday shopping early and these sales can help hinder the hit on the wallet.
When it comes to savings and bargains, there’s no such thing as too many. When you know where to look to score the best deals, finding your next steal is so easy.
So, sign up for those notifications (you can always cancel if you don’t like the offers), join those clubs, and clip those coupons (even digitally!). The only thing you have to lose is a little bit of time, but the savings will more than make up for it!
