Neve Designs Glockner Full Zip Cardigan Review #holidaygiftguide

Nothing starts the holidays off better than a good ole’ warm cardigan, am I correct?? Fall and Winter are cold months, no duh, so why not stay toasty and warm with a wonderful Neve Designs Glockner Full Zip Cardigan??

Trust me Dad or your hubby or BFF guy buddy will love you forever! And let me tell you, this cardigan is soo nice. I chose the Charcoal colored one with whites and darker grays. I chose that color, because my Dad has gray hair and he looks so nice in those colors.

 

The Glockner Full Zip Cardigan is so comfy. Though it is made from wool, you would not think that it was by touching it, feeling it. This is a stunning zippered front cardigan with a mesh line on lamb’s wool. This is truly a classic style with a comfortable feel. The pattern on it is nice and blends in so nicely with the colors. This cardigan also comes in burgundy and forest colors too.

It zips up and down very smoothly, which is always nice. I hate zippers on clothes that get caught onto the inside of it when trying to zip it up, this does not do that. It is very very well made, talk about great quality. This would be great for church, going out to eat or going to a holiday party! I am sure we all have those coming up, right?!

Kara Vita Skin Care Review and Giveaway!

I received the Purifying Complexion Mist and the Purify and Cleanse Kara Vita products to review. At first, I did not know about even trying the Purifying Complexion Mist, only because it does contain oils. But it is antibacterial Bergamot Oil and is supposed to help with acne somehow. But still I was skeptical. I sprayed this on my face, after cleansing and wiped it off with a cotton ball. My face felt really really soft when I used this. I can say, my face did not break out while using this. I did have regular breakouts, but nothing new or more, when using this complexion mist. The scent is a bit much for me, but does go away quickly.

Benefits of using the Purifying Complexion Mist:

So, it certainly does moisturize your face! That I can say. You can also use this throughout the day as a pick me up to your tired skin. Just don’t use as much as you would after washing your face, that way you can just do a spray and rub it in when necessary.
The Purify and Cleanse cleanser is certainly by far my favorite. You know, if you read my blog, I am a Proactiv Solutions user and probably always will be, but this Purify Cleanser is certainly a great product. Since using this product, and I have been using it for about 3.5 weeks, I have not had any irregular breakouts or bad breakouts, just normal one or two pimples. I have not broken out on my chin what-so-ever and my pores look very clean. I had no bad reaction to this and it is mild and gentle.  I have to say when I run out of this, I am most definitely ordering me so more, it is really that good.

BHCosmetics 88 Color Tropical Matte Eyeshadow Palettes Review

I love makeup, no duh, right? So it is really no wonder that when I saw a review come up about the BHCosmetics 88 color tropical matte eyeshadow palette, I was super excited to apply!

I was sent this wonderfully bright, fun and sparkly palette and had to put it to use real quick :) When I opened it, nothing was broken, everything was in tack. It was packaged really well, so that was a great start.

I really like greens, dark blues, grays, mauve, deep dark purples and yes, black, eye shadows :) I love wearing it dark on my eyelids, it looks sooo pretty I think. I have received lots of compliments on my eyes, so I always dress them up and just have fun!

This palette of eye shadows is so awesome. I come up with so many different colors by blending the colors together and wearing them. I use a lighter base shadow for all over on my eyes. Then I will put on a black eyeliner on the top only. Next, I choose a darker shadow to wear on and below the crease of my eyelids. I will then blend it in and then add a lighter color of the same color I put on my lids, to the lash line on the bottom part of my eyes. I think it really makes my eyes stand out and I love the colors in this palette.

The shadows also does not get all over everything, like some annoying shadows do. I cannot stand those kinds of shadows and will rarely use messy ones. Who has time for that?! These shadows don’t make a mess and blend really well.

It comes with two eye shadow brushes and a mirror, all tucked inside of this palette case!!! Great little package if you ask me :)

My son already loves video games, sigh, and so he is always asking about games. My hubby loves taking my son to go and look at the newest games available and rent games too.

We recently received a copy of D3Publisher’s family-friendly action racer videogame Ben 10 Galactic Racing  for the XBox 360. My boy already is a huge fan of Ben 10, so he was pretty excited about this game coming!

In this game, you can help Ben 10 save the universe by completing top-secret plumber missions on a very special Ben 10 micro site. Complete these ten missions to receive a free limited edition plumbers badge in the mail! Super cool!

You can also race in 30 different karts in 25 challenging grand prix tracks. This is spread across 5 planets from the Ben 10 universe. So much fun and so much to see and do! There is also 15 characters that includes heroes just like Ben 10, Kevin and 10 of Ben’s alien forms. So, lots of different characters.

This game is power charged and always keeps you on your toes. From races to mid-air stunts, this game will keep you on the edge of your seat! When I allow my son to play this game, he just loves it. It is one of his favorite ones. My hubby likes to play it too, so this is good for big kids too ;)

I had never heard of Howard B. Wigglebottom books before, and something tells me that if I had, I would remember ;) These books are so neat, they really are.

These books not only have fun illustrations, and lots of them, but also teaches your child about things. You can tell by the names of the books, what they will help teach your child. I chose the ones above, because those are things me and my kids are working on right now and I thought they would help them!

At the very end of each Howard B. Wigglebottom book is a guide and lessons for you and your child to do. I love this part and think it is a really unique and neat thing to offer, instead of just a book. Great resources for families! For example, at the end of Howard B. Wigglebottom and the power of giving book, at the end, there is lessons and reflections. This allows you to read the reflections throughout the book and relearn Howard’s lessons. Like the Happiness of Giving, The Happiness of Getting, Learning to Share and so on.

Gotta  love me some great styling products! My hair is super thick and long and keeping it nice and smooth looking can be a problem, unless I decide to go curly, then I just let it hang loose and don’t care. But if I want it smooth and straight, that is a different story!

Wii Adventure Game: Go Vacation (Review)

My son is just getting started playing video games. Though his time is limited on playing games, he just loves to be able to play them from time to time!

We recently received a new game called Go Vacation from NAMCO BANDAI Games America It is a Wii Adventure game and my 5-year-old just loves it. Now,  he can’t really play this alone, as I have to read what it says to him, but everything else on the game, he knows how to do!

From skateboarding and rollerblading to surfing and boating! It is so adventure filled and lots of fun. I enjoy watching him play it! My son also wanted me to tell you all that you can make friends too! And once you are friends with them, they will follow you everywhere  and copy what you do! In real life, that would be annoying, but playing the game it is fun!

My sons favorite parts of this game are finding new friends and skating, those are his exact words :) He is always asking me if he can play it, and when he gets to, it is hard to pull him away. Oh, and you can also get a doggy! Nothing like having a mans best friend by your side!!

My favorite part of this game is the snow-capped mountains and skiing!! You can ski down mountains and ride on the ski lifts! The characters are fun and you can choose your character and what you want him/her to look like at the beginning of the game. And, of course, you can name them!
